Our story
Built on honest advice and careful installs
Comfort Air Solutions started with a simple idea: people deserve an HVAC contractor who answers the phone, explains the problem in plain English, and does the job right the first time. Our team brings 25+ years of industry experience to every furnace, air conditioner and heat pump we touch.
Owner Kevin Turner has spent 23+ years in the HVAC trade. He still designs replacement systems himself, walks customers through their options, and stops by installations to make sure the work meets his standard. Customers mention it in their reviews — and it’s a big reason they call us back.
We work on homes of every age — from 19th-century houses near downtown Miamisburg to 1950s brick ranches in Kettering and 2000s subdivisions in Springboro — and on light commercial equipment like rooftop units, split systems, VAV systems and chillers for local businesses. We also handle repair calls dispatched by home warranty companies.

How we work
Explain it plainly
Every diagnosis comes with a plain-English explanation of what failed, why, and what your options are — including the option to repair instead of replace.
Give real choices
On replacements we typically quote several equipment options at different price points, often on the same visit, so you choose what fits.
Safety before sales
Combustion analysis, heat-exchanger inspections and low-level CO monitoring are part of how we work on fuel-burning equipment.
Stand behind the work
The owner checks in on installations, and we come back if anything isn’t right. That’s how a local company earns repeat customers.
What working with us actually looks like
Most people meet us on a bad day — the furnace quit overnight, or the upstairs hit 85 degrees before lunch. So the first thing we get right is the phone. A person answers, asks what the system is doing, and tells you honestly when a technician can get there. No phone tree and no three-day callback.
On site, the technician checks safety first, tests before guessing, and explains what failed in plain English. If a repair makes sense, you get the price before we start. If replacement is worth a look, owner Kevin Turner typically measures the house and lays out several equipment options at different price points — usually during the same visit — so you are comparing real choices, not a single take-it-or-leave-it number.
When we install, shoe covers go on and drop cloths go down. The old equipment leaves with us, the work area gets cleaned, and you get a walk-through of the thermostat and filter before we pack up. Customers mention that part in their reviews almost as often as the repair itself.
Homes and businesses we work on
- Older Miamisburg and Dayton homes with radiators, tight basements and patchwork ductwork, where ductless mini-splits or careful duct changes solve problem rooms.
- Post-war brick ranches in Kettering, West Carrollton and Huber Heights that need properly sized replacements and better return air.
- Newer subdivisions toward Springboro and Centerville whose builder-grade systems are reaching replacement age — see our HVAC system replacement page.
- Local businesses running rooftop units, split systems, VAV systems and chillers — our light commercial HVAC work.
- Home-warranty customers, when a warranty company dispatches us to a covered repair.
Wherever you are in the Miami Valley, the standard is the same: safe diagnosis, written options, clean work, and a phone number that gets answered when something goes wrong later.
The standards we hold on every job
A good repair is only part of a good service call. These are the habits our customers see from us whether it is a two-hour furnace fix in Kettering or a full system replacement in Springboro.
| Standard | What it looks like in your home | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Safety first | Gas, venting, electrical and — on fuel-burning equipment — a combustion analysis before anything else | A furnace that runs is not the same as a furnace that runs safely |
| Test, then diagnose | Readings and a documented fault instead of a guess from one symptom | You pay to fix what is actually broken |
| Written options | A price before repair work begins; several equipment choices on replacements | No surprises on the invoice and real choices on big decisions |
| Respect for the house | Shoe covers, drop cloths, old equipment hauled away, work area cleaned | Customers mention this in their reviews as often as the repair |
| Owner involvement | Kevin Turner checks in on installations himself | Someone with 23+ years in the trade is looking over the work |
What being a factory-authorized Bryant® dealer means for you
When we install new equipment, it is Bryant — furnaces, air conditioners and heat pumps built for Ohio’s mix of cold winters and humid summers. As a factory-authorized dealer we work directly with the manufacturer on equipment and parts, so the system you choose is one we know inside and out.
That does not mean we only work on Bryant. A large share of our service calls are on other brands — Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York and more — and we repair what you already have when repair is the right call.
Home-warranty and commercial customers
- Home-warranty repairs: warranty companies dispatch us to covered homes around Dayton. We diagnose, document what failed for the warranty company, and explain clearly what the plan covers and what it does not before any work you would pay for yourself.
- Light commercial: offices, shops, restaurants and light-industrial buildings rely on us for rooftop units, split systems, VAV systems and chillers, including planned maintenance so equipment is checked before each season. See light commercial HVAC service.
- Landlords and property managers: rentals around Fairborn, Oxford and Dayton benefit from scheduled maintenance plans and one number to call when a tenant loses heat.
Our service area, in short
Our shop is in Miamisburg, so the southern Dayton suburbs — West Carrollton, Moraine, Kettering, Centerville, Springboro, Germantown, Franklin and Carlisle — are closest. We also work across Montgomery, Warren, Greene and Butler counties and schedule planned work farther out in Miami, Clark, Preble, Darke and Clinton counties. Every community has its own page on our service areas list.
FAQ
About Comfort Air Solutions — common questions
Is Comfort Air Solutions a local company?
Yes. We are a locally owned heating and cooling company based in Miamisburg, Ohio, led by owner Kevin Turner, who has more than 23 years in the HVAC trade. We are not a franchise or a lead-generation call center — the people you talk to are the people who do the work.
What brands do you install?
We are a factory-authorized Bryant® dealer for new furnaces, air conditioners and heat pumps. For repairs and maintenance, we service every major make and model, so you do not need Bryant equipment to call us.
Do you work on commercial buildings as well as homes?
Yes. Alongside residential work we service, repair and replace light commercial equipment — rooftop units, split systems, VAV systems and chillers — for offices, shops, restaurants and light-industrial buildings around Miamisburg, Moraine and Dayton.
What is the Comfort Air Fan Club?
It is our maintenance plan. Members get scheduled spring AC and fall furnace tune-ups, priority service if something breaks, no diagnostic fee on service calls, and a percentage off service calls depending on the plan. Call the office for current plan options.
Do you work nights and weekends?
Our office is open weekdays, but emergency heating and cooling service runs 24/7 — nights, weekends and holidays included. No-heat calls in winter and no-cooling calls in a heat wave get priority.
Will you haul away my old furnace or air conditioner?
Yes. When we replace equipment, removing and disposing of the old unit is part of the job, along with cleaning up the work area before we leave.
Can you give a second opinion on another company’s quote?
Yes. Call and tell us what you were quoted. We will look at the equipment, run our own diagnosis, and tell you honestly whether we agree — including when the other company’s recommendation is the right one.
